About PEAK

our history

Founded by two public school teachers turned homeschool moms, PEAK Christian Academy began as a dream to provide something different for Abilene families.

Envisioning as a collaborative community of parents, students, and teachers, we set out to create an environment that would foster intellectual, social, and spiritual development in every child, while placing equal importance on the role of play. At PEAK, we take learning seriously and have fun, too! We believe, and research shows, that children learn best in this way.

admissions process

For New Students, Entering Kindergarten-6th

  • Step 1: Submit your Initial Application with $35 application fee.

We are excited that you are interested in PEAK! Your first step is to submit the Initial Application form. (Please note: We open the application March 1st for K-6th Grade and our Junior High.) Upon completion of your Initial Application, you will be prompted to pay a $35 fee, which is non-refundable and covers all applicants from your family. Completion of Step 1 does not guarantee enrollment for new families.

  • Step 2: build your Student Profile.

Once your Initial Application form has been submitted, you will receive a link to your Student Profile form. This will outline additional requirements, such as reading responses, video introductions, and references – all of which are pieces of your Student Profile. We recommend that you begin working on your Student Profile immediately, as our deadline for families hoping to enroll their student(s) in Kindergarten through 6th grade for the 2024-2025 school year will be April 12, 2024.

  • Step 3: Wait for a Family Interview Call Back.

If your Initial Application and Student Profile are approved, you will receive a call back to schedule a Family Interview.

  • Step 4: Wait for an Enrollment Invitation.

After Family Interviews are completed, invitations to enroll at PEAK will be sent to accepted families via email.

  • Step 5: Pay Enrollment Fee.

If you have been accepted for admission to PEAK, the last step is submitting your enrollment fee. The enrollment fee is $150 per student.
